Regional Development Fund) This money is now committed and the
projects are due to end by Dec 2008
The programmes include major improvements to the built environment
and other support for enterprise, including business
premises. The target is long-term improvement throughout the
Borough as a whole.
The Heart of Barrow programme concentrates mainly on the
following wards:
- Barrow Central
- Barrow Island
- Hindpool
- Ormsgill
- Risedale
- Dalton South (ERDF)
Some of the projects operate over a wider area than the wards
above, so if you need a grant, want to develop your skills or want
